Some call it intuition. Others, a sixth sense. In our new campaign for Bitdefender Romania, we call them #InnerAlerts - those subtle signals that warn us when something feels off. But when it comes to matters of the heart, these alerts are often ignored, leaving room for romance scams to creep in.
To raise awareness of this growing issue, the campaign encouraged women to trust their inner alerts and keep them switched on. The film told the story of a woman who found love online, drawing viewers in through the exchange of messages and the gradual building of a connection. The twist came at the end: all the joy and affection were suddenly replaced by the painful feeling of betrayal, something all too familiar to the victims of romance scams.
The campaign was created entirely by a team of women only.
