How to help parents better understand their gamer kids? More precisely, to help parents better understand gaming slang. In order to do that we needed a translator. But not just any translator. We needed a persona that could appeal to both the Z and the X Generations.

Enter Irina Margareta Nistor. She is the famous voice that dubbed the dozens of American movies on the illegal VHS tapes that Gen X grew up with.

The Mini Series

We created a 5 episodes YouTube mini-series starring Ms. Nistor. Through out the mini-series we explained GG (Good Game meaning Bravo), OP (Over Powered meaning very strong), AFK (Away From Keyboard meaning taking a break from the game), Loot (resources found or stolen from defeated enemies) and KD (Kiils/Deaths ratio which is a ranking stat used in multiplayer shooters).
